    Biographical Statement

    Raphael Bodewig is a Research Associate at the United Nations University Centre for Policy Research (UNU-CPR). He is supporting a Thematic Review of the UN Peacebuilding Fund’s Climate-security portfolio, as well as other projects within UNU-CPR’s Conflict Prevention and Sustaining Peace programme. Prior to joining UNU-CPR, he contributed to the PeaceLab project at the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin, working on crisis prevention, peacebuilding, and climate-security.

    Mr Bodewig is completing his Master’s degree in International Affairs at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. Previously, he spent an exchange semester at Uppsala University, where he researched trade-offs between post-conflict power sharing arrangements and democratization. In addition, he worked with human rights defenders and environmental activists during an internship with the NGO Corporación Podion in Bogotá.
