The United Nations University Centre for Policy Research is located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, near the UN Secretariat, Permanent Missions to the UN in New York, and other UN agencies and entities.
The UNU-CPR Geneva Office was established in June 2022 with the generous support of the Swiss Government. The Geneva Office helps to expand UNU-CPR’s support across the UN system, collaborate with the full range of policy actors in Geneva International, and help to bridge the policy ecosystems in Geneva and New York. The Geneva Office is able to draw from the expertise of the broader UNU-CPR team in New York, while also partnering with the wide range of policy actors in Geneva and beyond.
Our international team of experts and research partners are spread across the world – from Mogadishu to Melbourne and Bogota to Berlin. In 2020, UNU produced reports based on research in Bangladesh, the Central African Republic, Chad, Colombia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Gambia, Guatemala, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, the Maldives, Mali, Nepal, Nigeria, Senegal, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, and Tunisia, amongst others.
